The Sweet Stage is the second in a series of premium recipe publications produced for California Raisins in collaboration with the Singapore Pastry Alliance. Following the success of Small Plates Big Flavours, this volume shifts the spotlight entirely to dessert — twenty original recipes conceived by some of Singapore’s most respected pastry chefs.
Leap managed the full design and production of the cookbook, from layout architecture and typographic system to editorial structure and print production coordination. The challenge was giving each chef’s recipe its own distinct moment while maintaining a cohesive visual language throughout. A restrained white canvas punctuated by bold serif display type and rich food photography kept the publication feeling premium without overpowering the star of every page — the food itself.
The result is a publication that functions equally well as a professional reference and a collectible keepsake — a fitting stage for the talent it celebrates.
